Week 37
The Wheel in the Sky Keeps on Turnin'
Me Peeling matooke
Hey Guys!
Pictures with the gang after church
I've just been living it up here in Masaka!
This week we have just been working hard and having fun doing it!
Aside from the normal worky-worky, teachy-teachy stuff, we did have a really nice Lunch with Brian Junior, a soon to be missionary. The only catch was that he said he doesn't know how to cook so he was glad to buy all the food if we would cook it.... That was no problem though, because we have the sisters! I made the rice, they made the meat, and it turned out pretty nice to eat!  (I may not be a poet, but I know how to rhyme!) Make sure to check out the pic of me peeling Matooke (like plantains kinda).

We had four investigators at church this week, so that was nice... Took some nice pictures with members after church. Apparently everybody is finding my mom on Facebook, so that's funny. I didn't realize how professional everybody here is at cyber stalking!

Yesterday we were able to watch a broadcast to the youth of the church from President Nelson. It was a very nice devotional, and it definitely inspired me. For those of you who watched it, I am also doing my seven day (I mean two year) Social Media Fast.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great week! maybe I'll make up an exciting story to share next week so people keep reading my emails! I am officially reaching the forgotten stage as I had a meager 5 new emails today! (but that's okay, more time to chat with the fam, haha)
Love,
Elder Winn

The sisters peeling matooke at Brian Junior's

I have to say that when Elder Winn got his call to Uganda I knew I would not be getting texts from people who had encountered my son.  So when I started getting friend request and pictures on Facebook, I was so surprised. I love my new found friends and I hope that I can be a positive influence in their lives as much as they are in mine. These are a couple of the most recent pics sent to me by Moses.  He wanted to make sure Elder Winn got messages from his family on Sunday.  Here are a couple of pics he sent me.

Meanwhile at home:
Diego and Daisy sending their greetings.
